EDUCATION overview
To develop knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care when caring for clients and families with a life-limiting illness. This includes fostering an understanding of the principles of palliative care, such as holistic, person-centred care, symptom management and assessment, and advance care planning, communicating effectively with your clients and families, identifying the deteriorating phase and caring for yourself as the health professional.
