Registrant Cancellation Policy
Aim:
The purpose of this policy is to inform the registrant of their obligations and entitlements in cancelling their attendance at a scheduled Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE) event or education.
PaSCE-Initiated Cancellation of a Scheduled Education
While PaSCE makes every reasonable effort to ensure education proceeds as scheduled, there may be some unforeseen circumstances in which it is required to cancel the education.
Registrant Entitlements Following a Cancellation made by PaSCE:
In the event that PaSCE cancels a scheduled education, registrants are entitled to the following:
• Full Refund: Registrants (or their registering organisations) will receive a credit for future education session, or alternatively a full refund of any fees paid, inclusive of any subsequent charges.
• Notification: PaSCE will contact Registrants via phone, with email or text messages as secondary methods.
Registrant-Initiated Cancellations:
PaSCE acknowledges that registrant may need to cancel their attendance. The following conditions apply:
Definition: “Cancellation” refers to any reason preventing a registrant from attending a scheduled education session.
Refunds:
• Refunds or credits will be processed to the appropriate payee.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled session. Under extenuating circumstances, compensation may be considered, but only if the registrant explicitly requests it.
• Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund, including any ticketing fees, or preferably, a credit toward a future education session
Registrant Notification of Cancellation:
Registrants must notify PaSCE of their cancellation for a scheduled education session using one of the following approved methods below:
• Direct communication with the PaSCE team members responsible for delivering the scheduled session. Please note, cancellations submitted via third-party services, including Eventbrite booking emails will not be accepted.
• Phone: Speak directly with the PaSCE Administration Team by calling (08) 9382 9300.
• Email: Send your cancellation request to PaSCE@cancerwa.asn.au.
