EDUCATION overview
To develop knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care for Patient Care Assistants/ Assistants in Nursing working in various health care settings. This includes understanding key principles such as holistic, person-centred care, symptom assessment, communication, and advanced care planning. By enhancing the competencies of participant, the goal is to ensure that clients with life-limiting illnesses receive compassionate, respectful, and appropriate care, focused on improving quality of life and providing comfort during the end-of-life process.
