PaSCE Education Streams

Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE) operates as a team within Cancer Council WA’s Supportive Care Division.

Independently funded by the Department of Health at state and federal levels,
PaSCE specialises in delivering comprehensive palliative care education to healthcare professionals and palliative care volunteers across Western Australia.


Through five distinct programs — Professional Development Education, Volunteer Education, Residential Aged Care Education (RACEPC Communicate), Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA) and a Scholarships Program — PaSCE ensures a comprehensive approach to palliative care education and skill development for healthcare professionals and volunteers.

A PaSCE collaboration with the Yiriman Project

The PaSCE team is proud to offer this free educational video resource. The video is made for health professionals working with Aboriginal people, especially Aboriginal people originating from the West Kimberley region.

The ladies from the Yiriman Project wanted to be involved in this health professional resource and share their cultural beliefs and what was important to them around end-of-life care.
